Jane Carrey tied the knot

While Jim Carrey waits to become a grandfather, he added a new familial title to his resume – father-in-law. Jane Carrey, Jim Carrey’s daughter, recently tied the knot, according to Jim’s Twitter page.

“my Jane is a married women [sic]. days ago her and me new son in law alex got hitched,” Jim tweeted on Wednesday. “the day was simply perfect… lots of love there.”

On Thursday, the actor issued a statement confirming the wedding. “It was a beautiful day. Simple and sweet,“Carrey said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “I wish them everything that love has given us.”

Jane Carrey is pregnant with her first child with husband rocker Alex Santana. “I am very excited,” Jim said at the time. “Jane is going to be a great mom.”
