Four years after it had completed its journey television, the influence of the female cast of ‘Sex and the City’ raging in the U.S. box office, overcomes all odds and leaves in the background the manhood of the new Indiana Jones.
The female spectators has taken a clear payback in the country after the wanderings of Harrison Ford dominate the tastes of the audience, mainly male, in his first week of display, and has made Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda obtain 55, 7 million dollars (35.8 million euros) in its debut weekend.
In the film ‘Sex and the City’, director and producer Michael Patrick King, brought together the original deal (Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Catrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon) from the popular television series.
Michael Patrick King said: “I wrote that with a beginning, middle and end because I didn’t want to leave the audience unfulfilled. The actresses are great, and if the gods smile and people are still interested, why not?”
