Kate Hudson has a new boyfriend, the champion cyclist Lance Armstrong.

Earlier this month, Hudson was supposed to be engaged to on-off boyfriend Owen Wilson - but sources claim that at the time of the reports, Kate Hudson had already secretly begun dating Armstrong, 36.

Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson dined both Friday and Saturday nights at Eddie V's, a high-end restaurant frequented by Armstrong. Also on Thursday they were seen in New York at the Wildwood Barbeque restaurant at the afterparty following Kid Rock's Madison Square Garden show.

Us Magazine reports: "The new couple went on a cozy dinner date at Chuy's Hula Hut in Austin, Texas, according to a source. On Saturday night, the pair joined a group of six, including two women and four children. They seemed like they were having a great time" An inside source tells British newspaper The Mail On Sunday: "Kate and Lance have been dating for a couple of weeks. She thought it was really funny when people were writing recently that she was engaged to Owen, because the reality was that they had split again and she was secretly seeing Lance. She and Lance are both physical, passionate people - she's never been happier."

Lance Armstrong was formerly engaged to Sheryl Crow.
